These earrings are originally from Zeeland and feature a 12mm diameter Zeeuwse knoop and a garnet. The piece is entirely handmade and, except for the garnet, is made entirely of the highest quality silver (925). The silver is oxidized and does not contain nickel.

The Zeeuwse Knopjes are hollow inside, making them extra light and barely noticeable when worn. The back is beautifully crafted with silver thread, also known as filigree.
